iPhone X Home bar on landscape mode not working properly

Hey guys .

Usually the home bar is either white or black while using apps in portrait mode,u swipe up and return home easily .

On landscape mode while playing games like clash of clans the home bar is always black ,when I swipe up it doesn’t retun home .I swipe high and it sometimes turns white and when I let go and swipe again it goes home.

Also I’m unable to switch apps with the home bar on landscape mode as well.

I restarted the phone and it didn’t work.

Ps: it’s working fine when I use safari on landscape mode ,it’s just isn’t working on apps and games that run only on landscape mode.

Any advice ?

it always been like this you have to do the swipe twice when in landscape

I think it tends to do this on landscape apps that aren't iPhone X-aware. Encourage the developer to update their apps.

I thought of that as well but then I tried boom beach which was updated to iPhone X and still u have to swipe up twice .

im having the same problem with developers other than Supercell.

Guess it's also possible that it's intentional to prevent accidental swipes and sudden, unexpected return to the home screen.
