I purchased my 4S back in December of 2011 and I love this phone. Lately I've been having an issue where when I slide my finger across the home button (without actually clicking the button), it makes a clicking noise (as if the home button is loose or wobbly). The clicking noise doesn't sound like the noise the home button makes when you actually click the button, it's more of a high pitch click/tap noise and it doesn't seem to go away (very annoying in low volume environments).

Has anyone experienced this issue and found a fix for it?

Me, too! Identical issue.
Have you found any solution, meanwhile? Have you brought the iPhone to the Apple Store? I have not ultimately. Last time when I went there, a Genius told me that the button had to be used, and the problem would be solved over time.

Please, if anyone had the same problem share with us any solution found.

had to be used? sounds like a bad button, or a very used one. I'd have them replace it.
