I live in a very dry climate (CO), and my iPhone 3GS home button seems to have a physical 'click' sound to it- it's 100% a hardware click (and quite annoying). It also takes slightly more effort to click than it should.

When I travel to a humid climate (Midwest), as soon as I get out of the airport, the physical click sound goes away, and when I click the home button, it feels exactly how it did when I purchased it. Smooth. Upon returning to CO, it goes back to clicking.

Has anyone else had this issue? I'm afraid I can't take it back because I think it'll happen with any new iPhone regardless. Thoughts?

I live in Florida which is particularly humid and experience the same thing. It's like a click before the button depresses. Not sure exactly what causes it. Never experienced it on my 3G, just my 3GS. Doesn't seem to affect function though.
