I have an iPhone 5, and like my 4S on iOS6 whenever I am exiting a game whether it be Sims or Gems with friends there is at least a second delay when I click on my home button. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yea that is when I noticed it most
My iPhone 4 used to always have these kinds of delays when I was trying to exit a processor-intensive app. I don't know if it's a bug, or an issue, but it has definitely been around for a while.

I haven't played many games on my iPhone 5 yet (I'm waiting for most of them to be updated to support the new screen size), but I haven't noticed any delays yet.

Well. It will always have some delay.
It needs to wait for two clicks to invoke multitask bar. Back when there is no multitask, click home button once and it will go home instantly. You can try setting triple click in accessibility to see how long it will take to go home. This time it will have to wait for three clicks so it will have a long delay. Hope this help.

I should've noted that it isn't actually exiting the game that I noticed the delay, it's when I go to close the folder that the game is in.

This actually helped me. I had triple click VoiceOver in xD

My home button wasn't responding 90% of the time with 6.0 on my iphone 4.

6.0.1 seems to of fixed the home button

I even bought a replacement button housing from amazon if this patch wasn't going to fix it.

everything is working smooth so far.
