iPad Home button keeps crashing Ipad2 !

hello All,
i have ipad2 JB 5.0.1, it was working fine till y'day. and suddenly from today morning if i press home button, it crashes and pops up the Safe mode msg. so again i restart it and it works fine till i press home buton,,

i havent installed / uninstalled from cydia lately.
any idea ??

please help.. its annoying..

Are all your cydia apps updated? Perhaps try removing apps in reverse order to narrow it down.

How would i know the order of cydia apps installed ?

Uuuuuuuum....that's a good question.

Try installing CrashReporter and see if it gives you any valuable data. It's supposed to log crashes.

Okay, i have installed it..

its showing that my springboard is crashing ( 25 times ), but its hard to read log. is there any spefic place i can go and read a line form the log ?

Honestly it's been awhile so I'm trying to guess from memory. Probably not a ton of help...lol.

If you use Activator, the first thing I would do is make sure nothing strange got assigned to the home button somehow.

Activator is not installed in cydia. i dont find it in my installed stuff. is it ok ?

Okay, i screwed up totally...
i was removing pkg by pkg from cydia and now i have removed cydia from my JB Ipad. and still the problem is there.

What are my chances to restore 5.0.1 and rejailbreak ? i think Cydia has my saved SHSH.
I am sure my PC has SHSH for 4.3.3

Please help..thankx

You won't be able to restore, even with the SHSH blobs (A5 devices aren't vulnerable to that exploit).

Try rejailbreaking and see if that gets you cydia back.

any idea? how do i get cydia again ?
i have downloaded latest Redsn0w but its not doing anything,,, so i have downloaded Absinthe, but when i press "jailbreak" it gives me an error..saying that Ipad2 is already Jailbroken...

Anybody knows how to slove my issue ? please help.

Did you enable SSH? And do you have ifile installed?

If you did, you could always grab the .deb package of cydia, then if you had ifile installed use the installer feature of that?

Where do i get cydia.deb for ipad2. it looks like i have downloaded .deb ( 706 KB only ? ) and when i try to install using iFile, its giving me an error.

I have also tried re-jailbraking using Absinthe, but it also gives error " Already Jken Detected Stash"

can i remove this stash ? and try again ?

Guys, Please help me...
it looks like, after removing cydia , crashing issue have fixed.now how do i get cydia back ?

i have ifile installed on my ipad2.

Also, there are rumors about new 5.1 JB for A5, might take couple months.
now does it means there will be one for ipad2 ? JB looks promising..so if thats the case, i can restore my ipad..and wait for JB ..IF Re installing CYDIA aPP is not possible..

Please guide me..Thanks
