Home button not deactivating "jiggle" mode

when I move apps around or delete them and the app icons go into jiggle mode, pressing the home button once doesn't deactivate it. I have to activate Siri and then tap the screen to make it stop. Any suggestions?

Have you tried rebooting the device?

in the manuals i think apple describes it as 'jiggling' hah. also, you could just hit the sleep button
