Hi everyone,

I have a US iPhone (version 1.1.2 with the new bootloader). I did the jailbreak so that you can use it like an iPod touch.

Everything worked fine. However, after playing around for an hour and installing several tools (games, etc.) the home button stopped working completely.

I uninstalled everything and did reset the phone several times. In between, the home button function was resumed (imediately after the first system-reset). But after a while, it stopped working again.

Now, even with resetting etc. I cannot make it work again.

Anyone, who can help?

Thanks a lot!
Martin

Sounds like a hardware issue. Looks like a restore and call to Apple Support or reservation to Genius Bar is needed.
