I got my iPhone 3GS in from apple.com on the first day. One thing I noticed is my home button does not always get the iPhone to turn on right away. At first I thought maybe I didn't press the button well enough. But then I noticed a few times that my iPod controls would appear at the same time it turned on. I've now come to the conclusion that there are times when my iPhone takes a really long time to turn on. I showed my friend (also an iPhone user) and he agreed that something was up.
I realized that I had not rebooted my iPhone since I had gotten it and that I had installed some new apps and ran them. My 1st Gen phone was always sensitive to this, so I had always rebooted my iPhone whenever I installed new apps. So, I tried this and my iPhone was working fine again.
But then just this morning, I saw it happen again. I got the iPod controls again since I must have clicked the button a second time when the iPhone didn't respond the first time.
So, is this a software issue? Something wrong with my button?
It also appears that I have a slightly weak battery. My battery hasn't been lasting as long as my 1st Gen phone, even on days when I think I've been using it like I always do (instead of extra use cause it's new).
Advice?
