Home Button not working when in an app?

So my jailbroken 3g, 4.2.1, baseband 6.15.00, home button wont work in an app? it will work on the lockscreen, when the screen is black i can press it, and it will light up the screen but, any where else it wont do anything. No water damage or anything like that. I'd hate to restore it .

If you have Activator installed, make sure nothing is assigned to a single press of the Home button.

Will check that after i respring to get to home screen, UGGGGH!
