iPod touch Home Button Not working

You could use a virtual home button. Try googling it.

@alexisocool: It's a little difficult to read your message. Is this what you're describing?

1. Pressing the HOME button on your iPod Touch doesn't work.

2. Sometimes, the HOME button functionality goes off by itself (e.g., exiting an application).

Is this correct? If so, back up and do a full restore of your device. If it's jailbroken, you'll have to re-jailbreak it later. We need to make sure this is a hardware issue, not software.

If the HOME button works after restoring your iPod Touch, it was a software issue. If it still is being weird, you have a hardware issue, meaning you need to take it to Apple to get repaired.
