iPod touch Home button won't budge!

1st Gen ipod Touch and the home button not only is not responsive, it's physically stuck. No amount of pressure will make it budge. Can this be replaced by me? What is the procedure? Thanks.

You don't have to replace it yourself if you don't want to. You should jailbreak and install sbsettings.

Thanks. Got it jailbroken and sbsettings installed but I can't find anything to replicate the home button. Can you help?
