I have installed a new TB as a media drive in my MacPro (cheers from the crowd). Now I am attempting to consolidate everything to that drive.

However, I have programs that are using the folders in the Home Directory (Pictures, Movies, Music) and these programs default to those specific directories. I assume these folders are similar to "My Documents" in windows and there must be a way to tell the Home Directory to look for Pictures on the media drive instead.

Basically, I would like to be able to continue to open up my Home Folder and see the standard home folders.. but when I click on a respective folder, it would behave more like a shortcut and send me the correct location.

please advise.
