First of all, I like to think I know quite a bit about Macs/Unix, but this is one huge gap in my knowledge....

So, my home directory is nearly 20GB, and I've got a 80GB drive, it's taking up lots of space. Obviously, I'm not going to delete everything in it, and I know that that would ruin everything, but what can I do to shrink it?

I've got stuff in it like "Adium-1" and then "Adium-1-1" same with address book, and quite a few other applications. Sometimes there's just one copy of the application. Sometimes there are two copies of an application I thought I'd removed ages ago.

Can I deal with this somehow?

Thanks!
