Home folder from one external hard drive to another.

Okay so i have my home folder on an external hard drive so i can share it between two computers. however i need to move it to a new external hard drive with more space and i was wondering how i would go about moving it from one external to another. i know how change where it is in system preferences and what not i just need to know how to get it from one drive to the other. draging it across doesnt work.

Use CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper to make a 1:1 copy.
