Does getting a new Mac and setting it up in my livingroom count as home improvement? :)

Other than that, no. Oh, maybe I want to buy a side table to put in my kitchen, so I get some extra space to put stuff on, like my toaster and water boiler.

Nothing in London, but we're installing un toldo above the terrace down in Spain. The community are also doing up the entire exterior of the building, so it's probably going to be covered in scaffolding for most of the summer :(

Scaffolding, but NOT in London
Why even bother going to Spain then? :D

That's easy. The people in London are horrible, and the hot weather makes them worse.

Besides, in Spain there's a beach at the end of the street :)

But in London you have The Strand (which is Dutch for The Beach) :D

Anyhow, been to London -in the summer- twice, and quite liked it.

Well, I'm moving.

To a better "home."

So, that's a home improvement.

Not so much for the dog, though. Who's getting too old for moving.

Always.

Next on the list is to finish my horribly exhausting Venetian Plaster project on my other living room wall. (Vaulted ceiling, dammit)

My house is under constant renovation - it was severely neglected when we moved in and I've slowly been nursing it back to health. I guess I'll be dealing with the basement next, as today's flooding is the last straw (so bad I can't keep up with it right now) and I want a real fix instead of the running-a-couple-of-wet/dry-vacs-24/7 sort of fix I've used until now. Grading the lawn, better drainage, etc.

Or I'll just wait until the spring rains stop and forget all about it until next year. ;)

I just finished building up the grade on the side of my house today actually, so that was fun! Otherwise, not too much - I have some stuff to do inside, but nothing much more on the outside. I'll probably work on the deck a bit, do the usual yard maintenance, but otherwise, just enjoy the summer outside!

I shall be repainting my room. It's a sterile white right now, I think I'll paint it a light olive green.
