home key issue

I was a windows user for a very, very long time. I have had my power mac g5 now for a few years now. I am still annoyed that my home, and end key doesn't behave like windows.

I have tried the defaultkeybinding.dict thing, but it doesn't work... maybe cause i have tiger?

help?~!
