I have a home made DVD that I made back in my Windows days with Pinnacle Studio. The disk plays fine on a set top DVD player but my iMac C2D is having problems with play back and ripping.

mactheripper doesn't even see the DVD, even though it is mounted. Handbrake only gets 3 minutes of the 45 minutes on there.

What else can I try to get the video off of this DVD?

If you double click the DVD on the desktop, does it open to reveal a Video_TS and Audio_TS folder?

IF so, use VLC to open the Video_TS folder, just drag the Video_TS over VLC, and if it plays, then use VLC to transcode it.

File>>Streaming / Export Wizard

Then, Transcode Video, then go through the prompts.
