Has anyone cracked this nut yet?
I use iMovie and have made around 50 home movies. I can store them in a number of Apps, Finder, AppleTV and Photos, as I have a lot of iCloud storage. My goal is to have one app that acts as a great viewing/storage medium across all of my devices.
Finder: This is ok, the folder is available in all platforms, the storage is lousy as all you see is the filename, no images, or metadata
Photos: This potentially works a bit better as at least you have a thumbnail. But searching is a pain as the movies are differentiated from other camera made movies, so discovery is a pain.
AppleTV: I have set my MacOS default folder for this app to my iCloud folder. When I drag the movies in its perfect, metadata, nice display, all my movies. However when I go to iOS there are no settings there that allow me to point the app to that iCloud movie folder hence I can't see my movies.
Has anyone found a great alternative yet?
