I am new to MAC, recent convert from Windows so please be patient with my newness!

I have a BT Home Hub downstairs plugged directly in to my BT telephone outlet.

My Mac and TimeCapsule are upstairs and both connect wirelessly to my router without an issue. My MBP also connects wirelessly and easily.

I have other peripherals that can connect through the ethernet ports of my Time Capsule, but at present there is an issue with my TC!

I am wondering what would be the best solution, that will connect my home hub wirelessly, and be located upstairs so I can create a home network upstairs?

I tried a powerline ethernet adaptor... but thats just not working for me.

I have a NAS drive and that isnt being seen by the TC. Hence my thinking I should get a ethernet switch and I know that I can buy a 4 port wireless ethernet bridge.

I wondered if anyone has a similar setup and could advise what worked for them?

Thanks
