OK, long, detailed post - sorry.
My objective is to allow all my computers (win and mac) to print to my Canon printer.
I have a cable modem connected to a D-Linksys Router
The D-Linksys Router, through house wiring, goes to:
1) the xbox upstairs
2) study connection A
3) study connection B
4) study connection C
In the study:
Connection A: I have a Linksys 5-port Hub.
Connection B: unused.
Connection C: my new Airport Express.
Study connection A: On the 5-port Hub, I have:
- Dell Desktop Win XP Pro
- Dell Laptop Win XP Pro
- MacPro
The MacBook is wireless and working through the Airport Express. I have my Canon ip4300 connected to the USB port on the Airport Express and I can print from it perfectly.
Now, I want to be able to print to the Canon from all the other machines. How can I do this? (I've previously had the Canon direct connected to both the Dell Desktop and the MacPro, and it works fine when direct connected.)
Again, lots of detail, but I'm hoping there's a way to share this printer across all the machines via the network.
Thanks, Todd
