I am just about to get a MacBook Pro as my first Mac, and I think this is probably the most applicable forum for my questions.
I am currently using Windows XP Pro, and the most advanced network I have is a really basic wireless which is for the iPod Touch around the house. I don't really know much about it.
However, with my new Mac I am hoping to set up a NAS system. I would also like my TV to be able to stream media from both the NAS system and also stream live content from my Mac (I have an MLB TV subscription).
I understand I would have to buy something like a Drobo system and a box to attach to my TV.
What are the best options? Would something like Airport Extreme, Drobo and Popcorn Hour be suitable?
Thanks
