All over the place
Here is a challenge for a true Apple insider:

In Safari, all tabs opened with Command-T or File>New Tab are initially blank. Snow white (or with a yellow gradient if you have a SR Macbook Pro).

Is there a way to have them initialized with the home page instead?

Thank you.

Good question. I'm not aware of a way to do this automatically. What you can do is hit Command-T to open the new tab, and follow that up with Command-Shift-H to open the home page. Not what you were looking for, but not horrible.

huh, I didn't realize this at all.... lol, another example for its weak tab operation.

Indeed, not too shabby a solution. Thanks WildCowboy.

It is an absurd inconsistency in Safari, anyway.
