Home Screen Notification in 3.0

Hello,

For those of you using the 3.0 SDK, do you know if homescreen notifications are allowed? For example, without sliding to unlock something telling me calendar notifications, SMS, email and missed call.

Currently I believe something like this is available for Jailbroken phones, but I do not want to jailbreak.

Is not available outside of what 2.x has. Same thing.
