I have a friend who is have issues with her Home Sharing. She has a Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard and a Mac Mini attached to a tv running Mavericks.
Now I've never used HS (mainly cos there is only one Mac in my house) but from what I can see it's all hooked up correctly, the iTunes library is visible on the other machine, the only thing she can't get is audio coming through (or if it is it's very quiet).
How many different audio menus are there I have to check? The main Mac Mini audio is working because I can move the slider and hear the ping as it goes, just nothing from iTunes. The TV is turned up loud.
Ask if you need any further info. I'm *assuming* she is running the latest versions of iTunes on both machines.
