I just enabled one of lock screen widgets for the Home app -- the one that gives you a snapshot of the temperature in your home. Just now, it was showing 71°.

I got curious about this, because the rooms the HomePods are in are very different temps at the moment -- kitchen is 76° and the bedroom is 66° because a window is open. (disregard the AC window unit here, which is offline and in storage).

Anyway, turns out the widget is, I think, taking the average of 66+76, which is actually fairly clever!

(66°+76°) / 2 = 71°

and if you don't want any of your temp devices to report in the Home page or the widget, then you can go into the settings of that device under status and disable "include in home summaries"
