Hello,

I've have an idea to use Homekit for switching automatic locomotive drive for model train DC layout. But there is not simple to find excact switcher or relay which can work as usual switcher for any line. Usually they distribute net current by themselves.

What I got
- model train controller 0-20v DC which could start locomotive with beautiful acceleration if you connect two contacts, and stop if disconnect
- DC layout

What I need to get
- switcher or relay which could connect and disconnect those signal contacts
- the same for layout lighting

With lighting I could use smart Plug like EVE, because lighting current comes from the same rail transformer. But I would appreciate if you advice how I could turn on and of signal line.

you need a homekit compatible DC relay

if youd like to DIY, check out the homespan project. native homekit on an esp32
