Upgraded Apple TV to latest software and iphone remains on 12.4. My HomeKit devices are not responding can this be the issue? All have to be on same software version? Thank you.

it should work.
try rebooting everything - aTV, phone, router, modem.


does it work when your phone's at home and the aTV is unplugged?

A couple of years ago i had the same issue after an iOS update and turned out that i had forgotten to apply the laster update to my ATV. Once i upgraded it to the latest OS it was fine.
