I recently setup a Lurton Caseta lighting system.

I have a few automated task setup, turn lights on at X time on weekdays, ect.

Where the problem comes in is location triggers. If I leave and my wife is home, the lights turn off. If she has lights on full brightness and I come home they dim to my I'm Home setting.

I haven't really done testing with this. But is there a way to avoid this type of annoyance based on the location of another iOS device?

Thanks for any help.

I am in the same situation and have also not yet experimented. My wife and I share an icloud account primarily for photo library sharing but a side effect of that is homekit sharing. I suspect that if i set a rule up with multiple location requirements it might work.

I think overall a better solution is to use location sensors such as the ecobee remote sensors that were announced in the last few days.
