Are there any reasonably priced homekit power outlets that don’t require a seperate bridge to control them?
I have three lamps I don’t want to change the bulbs in for different reasons but would like to make smart.

I have had pretty good luck with WeMo Mini. The only issues I've had were some hiccups reconnecting after a total loss of power or restarting my router, but those issues seem to be (I think) resolved with some firmware updates over the past year or so.

Amazon had a discount on the Meross and I could get them delivered today for less than $80au so I went that avenue.
They work well in the home app but for some reason Siri can’t find them or any scenes that they’re in.

Ok got them fixed my downstairs HomePod had connected to my wife extender rather than the main wifi. Next job is to work out if I can stop that happening.

I've had a terrible time getting wemo smart (mini) plugs to work. After much effort and reading troubleshooting instructions on the Belkin website and elsewhere, I had to manually change my iPhone to be connecting to the 2.4 GHz band on my WiFi router, and then I could eventually get the wemo plugs to be recognized by the wemo app. But they are still not recognized by my Home app.

Reading reviews on Amazon it seems that this is very typical for these wemo smart plugs. I've e-mailed Belkin customer support to see if they can provide some clear troubleshooting instructions.

+1 for VocoLinc; rock solid performance for me, not once did I have any issue with Smart Bar (I have 3) - and I exclusively use the Home app to control them (other than firmware updates).

I have 2 of the new WeMo Wi-Fi Smart Plugs (which are smaller than the older, but not a *that* old Wemo Mini). I set them up only using the Home app and they’re working well, including automatons. I did have a few issues setting them up. The first two times they would drop offline/no response, or appear in home but not do automations. I guess third time’s a charm.

I had 2 iHome plugs, but after a period of dis-use and then resetting them, I struggled to get them added to Home again. The wemo’s are pretty decent.
