Hello,

I read about unpleasant problems with HomeKit after upgrading to iOS 16.2.

Are there these problems only if you upgrade to latest HomeKit architecture or generally if you upgrade to iOS 16.2?

Thanks for clarifying and merry Christmas!

Daniele

I think 16.2 is fine. its just HomeKit, and I believe that you can no longer upgrade that now.

I updated all my devices to 16.2 but the new architecture was pulled before I had a chance to download it. Everything is working fine for me on 16.2 with the old architecture.

I updated to the new arch, I can Airplay from MBP (macos 13.1) but not from my iphone 14p (ios 16.2).

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks for replying.

So can you please confirm that as long as I do update the HomeKit architecture, I will not have any HomeKit problem?

Apple pulled the new architecture update due to too many problems. You can’t download it even if you wanted to.
