Hi all, have a quick question regarding HomeKit secure video.

I recently just added a Logitech Circle 2 camera (not the newer Circle view) & wanted to know does having the camera connected to secure video require / use more data?

I have it set just to detect activity, but curious if having it on 24/7 will use a have any substantial toll on my home network.

I thought I read somewhere that HSV results were different, but can’t seem to find anything.

It’s only using data when it detects something. It will only upload to iCloud when any of your motion-detection criteria are met. It isn’t like a normal system where it’s recording 24 hours a day and therefore uploading 24 hours a day.
