The Ciao Gadget (Kumo) Wireless Tags are really useful for temperature & movement: I'm using several to monitor my freezer temperature, inside and outside air temperatures, my pool temperature and also pool level. I've found a way to get the readings and control on HomeKit, though it's a bit circuitous:
1. Set up the tags to make local URL calls to an Android tablet running Automation Manager for IoT - the WirelessTag app or website makes this relatively easy.
2. Automation Manager have just released a HomeBridge to HomeKit, to allow the Android tablet server to connect to your HomeKit hub.
I can now see all the readings on my iPhone and can also turn on & off the WeMo switches associated with the Android server I have on the Android tablet - from anywhere. Automation Manager is a great Android app as you only need to buy a cheap low-end tablet to get it to work.
The only problem is the units: HomeKit doesn't seem to allow any units other than Temperature or Humidity, so my pool level shows "°C" instead of millimetres
It's a shame Apple aren't more flexible and the only way to connect Wireless Tag to HomeKit is via an Android environment! - anyway it all works very reliably.
