A group of friends and I made some shirts for a pub crawl. Before the slew of comments that call me a jerk try and keep in mind I'm Irish and so was everyone out with me. The shirts were totally a joke and everyone had a fun night. Most people on the pub crawl I made this for are Irish, and everyone (girls included) laughed.

I mean if we can't poke fun, the terrorist have won /sarcasm.

I'm not going to call you a jerk, I just don't understand the hilarity/humour of it.

In addition, I think it is quite ridiculous how much attention is paid to St Patricks day across the world (no offence intended). Especially, by people who are not Irish. Most people use the it same way they do with too many things these days - as an excuse to get out of their face drunk.

I mean, I live in Scotland and St Andrews day is rarely ever celebrated, and when it is, it does not get the same amoount of attention of St Patricks day. Thats in my own country.

Oops...gone a bit off topic. Sorry - enjoy your T-Shirts.

Haha,
I have to agree, St. Patrick's does generate a lot of buzz considering most people don't even know what we are celebrating. Honestly tho, any excuse to spend time with your friends is a good thing.

OMG. At my school, the Principal is from Ireland. He totally goes all out. We have an assembly, he has a bagpiper go around school in the morning and during the day (even though its Scottish w/e). He goes on the loud speaker and sings irish songs. He wears a kilt to school as well. I'm not even kidding, its like his favorite holiday in the world.
