As expected with the quality of Apple's Homekit software: problems after the update to 17.3 arise. 4 accessories are disconnected and can't be reconnected again (inside the native Aqara apps 2 sensors show as connected and the automations still work).

And mysteriously, automations which were changed a while ago reverted back to a state before the changes.

One Homepod "moved" itself back to a room in which is was sitting before weeks ago...

Oh Apple... Your Homekit is ****.

Jeez. I haven’t had the pleasure of updating yet but this doesn’t sound too good.

… but some people will say it’s your network 🙄

This doesn’t help you but I have 7 HomePods. A pair of Gen 2s and the rest are minis. I haven’t had any issues with 17.3. I get worried with every update because I’ve had updates brick two of my HomePods in the past.

I updated a mix of 8 HomePods with no issues. I was having issues getting Siri to play the new Favorite Songs playlist with HomePods connected for stereo sound. Do not know if 17.3 had anything to do with this but the Favorite Songs playlist now plays. All of my HomeKit stuff and automations work just fine.

I upgraded a mix of 5 HomePods without issues, so add me to the group who've been fortunate.

Upgraded to 17.3, and it seems all the issues I was having with HomeKit have disappeared.
1 HomePod mini
4 Leviton motion sensors for each bathroom
1 Leviton scene controller
18 Leviton dimmers(matter)
1 Leviton outlet
1 wemo smart plug
1 wemo scene controller

Upgraded as well and my 1sr Gen HomePods keep getting worse and worse:

- I get kicked out of my WIFI when I start AirPlaying to them
- After a couple of seconds both HomePods stop playing
- Playback is interrupted whenever I get a push notification on my iPhone (and doesn’t come back on)

I use Spotify…

I updated my original HomePods and didn’t have any problems. I leave automatic updates disabled, though, because of the fear of bricking them.

Do you all have Beta testing set up? 17.4 betas have all been pretty good....17.3 wasn't too good and I immediately jumped to 17.4 when it became available.
