HomePod HomePod 2 volume level dependent on (Apple TV/Phone/Ipad/Mac

I have my 2 stereo paired HomePod 2 ( I have attempted the following)
Both (Paired to M2 Ipad Pro 12 inch) watched movie via Apple TV app (Invasion which supports Dolby Atmos)
Both (Paired to Macbook Pro M1) watched movie via Apple TV app (Invasion which supports Dolby Atmos)
Both (Paired to iphone 14 pro max) watch movie via Apple TV app (Invasion which supports Dolby Atmos)


Question does get louder for example if I set it up with Apple TV 4k ( newest version) or is what I am getting from the Macbook Pro/Ipad similar to what I would get if I connected it to my apple tv4k for home theater.

I read in tvos 16.3 that the volume levels were changed for the big homepod and the dolby atmos code was re done. That might lead to more volume coming from appletv4k. I am not sure about a mac.

Can confirm there is a volume difference when using HomePod Get 2 (stereo pair) with Actual Apple TV 4K.
Performed Tests all at Max Volume - same room, using Apple TV app on each device ( other then the actual apple 4k unit)

1. iPad Pro M2 (12inch) playing fight scene of See on Apple TV first episode fight scene - airplay to HomePod 2 Gen.
2. M1 Pro MacBook Pro 14 inch same scene in See.
3. M2 Air same scene in See.
4. Directly to actual Apple TV 4K

Results- Gets much louder when using with Apple TV 4K with more defined Atmos effects.

Apple 4kTV - HomePod 2 ( Stereo pair) See (1st fight scene where the release the wall max 102.4 Db
M1 Pro MacBook Pro- (stereo pair same scene) 95.4 Db
