Hi, I use HomePods in my home to play ambient sounds overnight. I typically either use the sounds provided by Apple or one of many 'ambient sound' albums available on Apple Music. Does anyone know how to prevent these tracks from impacting my Apple Music listening history?

During the day, if I ask HomePod to play me some music, all that plays is ambient sounds rather than music I'd actually want to listen to during the day. I've considered turning off 'Update Listening History', but then Siri wouldn't learn from tracks I listen too at other times.

Thoughts?

I’d just be a little more specific with my request and maybe she’ll learn better. For example, “Hey, Siri, play some 80’s music”

If you ask HomPod to play ambient sounds, it doesn't affect your listening history as they are not from Apple Music.

E.g. Hey Siri, play rain sounds

Hope this answers your question.
