If I buy a HomePod and people that visit my home that have iPhones, can they connect to it and stream their music?
 
You can as long as it is set-up correctly in the Home app settings and they are on your wifi network. You need to have the "Speakers & TV" set to "Everyone" or "Anyone on the same network". I believe the default is "only people sharing this Home".
