ordered it off of eBay. My first HomePod bought because of reading on here, so if I hate it it’s on you guys.

What’s the best place to put 1 in a great room? And I plan on getting another one so will put it on same room

I have Apple Music so was wondering how I set up my account on it? Through my phone? Do I use HomeKit app?

Once you plug it in, the set up process is fairly easy. It will walk you through the steps to set it up through you phone.

It's tied to your Apple ID, you it will automatically detect your apple music subscription.

In terms of where to place it, the cool thing is that it's pretty easy to move, so test it out in a few different spots to see what works best for you. Enjoy!
