Why is it only available in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom? Lack of manufacture resources to supply the demand? Market assessment predicts it wouldn't be profitable anywhere else? What's the reason behind the limited availability? Also stupid that they release the product before all its functionalities are ready to be fully enjoyed.

Any prediction as to when it'll be available in Europe (European Union)?

Not 100%, but wasn't there an article that HomePod is only being released with English Siri to start? I think that also had a factor in the starting countries...

Can’t remember but Canada, New Zealand or Ireland speak English. I use Siri in English even though it’s not my native language.

Obviously USA and UK are the biggest markets for Apple in English. In Australia, Apple is perhaps trying to get in before Amazon because the Echo was as only released this week here.

I recall one of the rumors was that 1 million units were being shipped out initially as that was how much they could make by launch. No point in spreading that too thin over too many markets.
