HomePod Homepod Gen 2 Stuck at Downloading 16.3

So i received my 2 2nd Gen Homepod today and it automatically trying to download the updates (16.3). After multiple reset, remove device, network reset, turning on/off ipad and iphone still no luck in updating to 16.3. Now my homepod’s are still stuck at downloading. Anyone else having same issue?

How long have you waited? It could take some time but 16.3 was particularly stubborn for me too.

My two 2nd gen HomePods took about 45 minutes total to download and update to 16.3 today.

after 10hrs in downloading status, now it allow me to update + installing. It's all good
