I haven't looked too hard into the HomePod or its competitors as I can't quite see how they fit in. For music, I have a home theatre (& Airpods) connected to my iPhone/iPad/PC & I rarely ask Siri things on my IOS devices that I see Apple promoting as things to ask HomePod.

In saying that, it could be yet another device that I'll use more than I expected, as the Airpods turned out.

So what are you purchasing the HomePod for? What will be your most common uses for it?

I have a nice JBL home audio set up, aside from HomeKit compatibility, I primarily will use this in the spare room where I do my workouts And channel my Apple music through the HomePod. My uses will be minimal, but the sound is what entices me
The most.
