HomePod HomePod keeps playing

Has anybody noticed that if you want a specific song from an album, HomePod will play the next song in the album whether or not you asked Siri to do so?
Is this a feature? Id like to turn it off if possible.

Mine doesn't do this. I asked it to play a song from an album and then the music stopped after it had finished.

I noticed at at times siri will not stop or pause a song when I asked it too, that's about the extent of it playing and not stopping.

I’m glad I’m not the only one to experience this. I posted this issue on another thread, but nobody replied saying that it happens to them too. I also called AppleCare, and the senior advisor escalated the issue to engineering, because Apple hasn’t received any other calls about this.

How are you giving the command? If I ask her "hey siri play <song title> by <artist>" she will stop playback once the song is over. I've never really asked based on album.
