Hi,

I'm currently in the process of setting up a Homekit system and am thinking about buying a Homepod Mini as the hub.

Before I do and potentially waste money, I'd appreciate your advice on the following questions:
- Homepod Mini as a siren:
I've seen a tutorial where the Homepod Mini can be triggered by a sensor to play a predetermined sound to function as a siren, ie by selecting an alarm sound.
The tutorial seemed to suggest that the sound needs to be selected from Apple Music which requires a subscription. Is this correct or can I also select an audio file from my local collection that's stored on a network disk?
Secondly, would the Homepad Mini on full volume be actually loud enough to act as siren, ie would a siren sound be uncomfortable when played at full volume inside?

- Homepod Mini as an audio sensor.
Is it possible for the Homepod Mini to act as a sensor itself, to listen for loud noises to then trigger an action? Examples I can think of are breaking glass or a smoke alarm going off?

Thank you for your help I appreciate it.
