Verizon today has Apple's HomePod mini for $84.99 in three colors, down from $99.99. As with all Verizon discounts, you don't need to be a Verizon Wireless customer to get this sale, and the retailer is offering free two day shipping.

At $15 off, this is the best price we've seen on the HomePod mini in over a year as discounts on the smart speaker have been extremely rare. Verizon also has a few other accessory discounts this week, including 30 percent off a bundle of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil USB-C, and iPhone 17 accessory bundles.

Yeah no. These will be on sale for 50-60 as we get closer to BF. I almost picked up a set last year but I’m honestly happy with my Amazon Echo setup and not looking to reinvent the wheel or deal with that idiot child Siri until/unless Apple gives me a more compelling reason to than “bright colors.”

Looking at that photo are those basically the colors of the new Pros (minus the black and yellow/gold)?

I got a refurbished one a couple years ago for $50 and another used at $60 with a wall mount. Definitely would never pay near $99 for one... Even $84.99 seems mehhhh. Siri really makes it not that enjoyable with the limitations.
My son picked up a pair last year for 50/each and uses them as paired stereo speakers on his TV through his ATV box. For a dorm room they’re perfect, but so far that’s the best use case/price point I’ve seen for these things given the issues with Siri and lack of Bluetooth connectivity.

Big deal. I bought one "new in open box" on eBay for $60 with free shipping. It's in perfect condition, and I use it as both a hub and a speaker on my basement TV, and there are plenty more for sale there. In all the colors, if that's your thing.

Never again Apple - biggest craaa🗑️aaap of the Apple brand I ever own.
I traded my old Homepods & mini's in to a bad price, but I was so released to get rid of them.
Nobody wants them here, I've seen add's that had been out for a year and longer, unsold.

Sooo ♥️ my Pioneer BT speakers that I bought instead, and they have many times better sound.
Will definitey buy another set of them, maybe a 5" next time - I have 4" now.
Did I say that the sound are not even comparable between the Pioneer's and the Apple's intent to a speaker.
So happy with making the shift.

I wont be burned again. The newest homepod was in development and released in the same timeline as SirAI, and even if all AI features came out on time, they specifically chose to not make it compatible. Makes no sense.

I could swear I picked up some of these several years ago at that price from Costco, probably a holiday sale.

I'd like to have more for our mother in-laws house, but the rumors of a second generation have me waiting. Upgrade ours and move our 1st gens to her house.
