HomePod Homepod Mini OS 14.2.1

Anyone noticed any fixes from the latest OS update to 14.2.1? All went smoothly but took a while and now music doesn't seem to transfer from phone to homepod mini with a bump. Will give it a while to stabilise and then try again.

HomePod minis appear ok, but suddenly having problems connecting to large homepods from Home app snd airplay. Homepods respond to voice commands without problem. Tried restarting them but no joy yet.

Reset them and left them for a bit and now working again. Luckily I have only had one instance of 'can't connect to the internet' so it could be a small tweak in that area.

My large homepods are paired to an Appletv so problem may be related. Appletv is playing music to homepods fine. Have restarted homepods without success so will now try restarting appletv.

Restarting the AppleTV solved the problem

Excellent, I restarted all my apps and iPhone to get it all stable again. In the interconnected world it only takes a 1 to be a 0 somewhere in the network for it to cause a problem!

Ever since they released HomePod OS 14.2 the other day, I’ve experienced a lot of HomePod mini issues: it’ll randomly stop playing, it crashes the iOS Music app a lot, Siri issues, etc.

Very frustrating.
