HomePod Homepod mini + Siri

Hello, I'm having an issue with my Homepod Mini w/using siri on my iphone. I will ask siri "any messages" and it used to read me all my texts. Now is says my iphone is unavailable. I can still play music from my iphone, so i feel it's still connected somehow. I've restarted my iphone and i also unplugged my homepod from the wall for 20 seconds and plugged it back in. Still saying unavailable. Any other steps to fix this?

Both are updated to the most current software, 15.1.1

I would wait for the incoming 15.2 updates and hopefully they will fix the cluster-**** that is the current software.
