HomePod HomePod Mini...."You'll have to authenticate..." "who is speaking?"

I have searched and only found a couple older threads so I wanted to see if anyone else has this issue.

I have apple TV and HomePod mini at my house along with multiple iphones and ipads. I have tons of smart switches and a smart thermostat.

My wife is added to my home in homekit.

The Mini never recognizes her voice even though all of the permissions and settings are correct. Lately, Siri doesn't recognize me either.

Are other people having this issue too or should I see about taking my mini to the apple store?

I get it from time to time. First try retraining your voices with Siri. Theb try rebooting the mini. Also you could try signing out and back in of iCloud.

Yea been strange lately in Mac forums in iCloud server connections! Apple seems to be doing something to affect the Apple event coming up!
