So google is saying that first gen HomePods are compatible but no beta profile as yet?

I haven't seen any official announcement of HomePod Software 26 yet, only articles written before WWDC. The focus of WWDC is to present betas of the new software to developers so that they can work on updates in time for the fall release. But since HomePods don't run third party software there is probably no need to release a beta at this point.

Looks like there is no HomPod Software 26 at all. I really hoped for some kind of Alexa Dropin feature. Intercom gets often in the way if you want to exchange more than one question to another person in the house.
