I setup the HomePod and turned on personal preference.

The HomePod asks for authentication on iPhone to read text, read notes etc.

But is there a way to have authentication on when sending sms, creating notes or creating calendar entries?

This seems to be a flaw. As anyone could send an sms / text under your name.

Phone needs to be in range. And with Siri from the lock screen (holding home button) this can be done from your iPhone as well assuming “anyone” knows the name of the contact they are trying to message.

Point being you’d probably know about it.
