When I'm in the middle of a phone call, if I try to play anything in the Music app on the phone, it only shows me the option of using the iPhone or Speaker. It doesn't show the option of playing the music on the homepod. Instead, if something was already playing (using hey Siri earlier) that shows as playing on the homepod separately with no way to control it. I can go to the Home app and pause it, but that's about it.
Now if I get off the call, I can go to the Music app and play something, I now see an option for the homepod. If I select that, I get asked if I want to replace what is playing and everything works fine.
Is this a known limitation of homepod where, if you are on a phone call, you cannot use the iPhone to control the homepod?
